But Needs A longer and heavier chain with a bigger clasp !I bought it as a wedding gift, it is delicate, soft and feminine. The pearl itself is simply beautiful, I bought the 8.5-9.0 and I am glad I did, the size is great. I know many complained about the necklace being too thin, I believe the necklace is suppose to be thin to showcase the pearl, if it was thicker it will take away from the softness of the pearl. I only wish the necklace was a tad longer and perhaps made a little stronger, that's why the 4 stars. The pearl is definitely a 5 stars. Like others have said, the diamond is tiny, but I didn't buy is for the diamond...I bought it for the pearl. The necklace is small diameter, which to me seems too delicate but my wife liked it. Buy it for the diamond and necklace and you may be disappointed. Buy it for the pearl and the design and you will see that it is a beautiful piece of jewelry!I was looking specifically for a AAA Pearl with a gold chain, with an embellishment. This design was exactly what I wanted. The chain is delicate and beautiful which adds to the piece. I'm glad I went with the smallest Pearl size as it is a little large for a smaller frame. I would encourage you to research the actual the Pearl prior to purchase. As there is no size chart when buying. Wonderful and beautiful Akoya Pearl!!!!
