Love this jacket! I have to say that this is the PERFECT jacket for anyone who is active and needs something light to pack for warmth and wind protection. This jacket is made of a wonderful blend of super light weight fabric that is very smooth and soft, definitely not your average rip-stop nylon type. It is warm and breaks the wind. I have not used it in wet conditions yet, but will update if I do. It is very well made and has a zipper pocket in the back.I live at the beach and intend to use this jacket for running and cycling in sometimes windy cool weather. I will also use it for hiking in the fall. I got the black one and it has a stylish look so I also throw it in my purse and bring it with me when I go out shopping or for casual dinner. Looks great with jeans or workout/cycling clothes! I get compliments and my friends want to know where I got it.Overall - this is a great product. The only thing I would say could improve it would be a stow-able hood in the collar. Other than that.. it's perfect.*** Note: Pearl Izumi's sizing runs heavily on the small side so size up at least one size unless your super petite. I am not huge, but I have broad shoulders and my arms are muscular and a bit above average in size which sometimes keeps me out of woman's jackets due to the arms being too slender. The arms on this jacket fit well and the sleeves are not too long, which is also a problem for me sometimes. Additionally, I appreciate that the way the jacket is cut, which allows some give across the shoulders due to the venting and attachment of the sleeves, which gives me a lot of shoulder room. This is excellent for being bent down on my Aero bars on a bike ride. I usually wear a med or large in woman's, so I went with the X-large and it fits well. Snugly but not tight (and not uncomfortable). I could probably fit the XXL as well.This jacket was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so glad I found it here for a great price! It functions exactly as I had hoped - namely, to provide visibility with some wind/water protection. Plus, it is so lightweight it can be stowed easily if you are removing layers. When I run in a light rain, I stay completely dry. When I ran in a downpour, I did get a little damp in spots, but overall I was pleased - and I didn't expect the jacket to be completely waterproof. I heeded other reviewers' advice and ordered up a size. I am 5'7" 134 lb and normally wear a medium, but I ordered a large and am happy with the fit. It's a little loose (which is fine because I am usually layered underneath) and a little long in the back (great for biking or rowing) - again, just what I wanted. Love this jacket!This jacket is amazingly warm. Even biking at 52F out, it's still warm for it. It keeps my heat in and blocks the wind. I say it would be still good if you have a thermal long sleeve underneath when it's around 40F out. I would buy it again. the fit is great and the price on Amazon was outstanding compared to all the stores I have seen it in. Perhaps a past season but it's the same thing and does the same job. The color is a must if you're riding. Safety is crucial when you're out on the road. There are no front pockets but a typical big back horizontal pocket. I keep my bike pump in there.Great quality and fit with this XS jacket!! The only thing I miss are the front zippered side pockets, which are not present in this jacket. Style: The white in the back of the jacket has a special treatment so that it has texture kind of like small waves. It is very cool! One useful back pocket will come in handy, too. It does have velcro at the wrist so that you can tighten it as much as you need to keep out the wind. I really like this jacket! Black goes with every rash guard top, too!Pear Izumi hit it just right with the design of this jacket. as a person who cycles and runs, I am always looking for multipurpose clothing. I love the look of this fun plaid jacket, but the best parts are the rear pocket which works well for both sports as well as the stretchy fabric in the gussets at the back of each sleeve. It is a solid, black fabric with a crinkly look that allows for much more reach and arm movement than a traditionally designed running jacket. Good for layering, but outstanding for biking. Think about reaching forward over the handlebars with no restrictions across the upper back. Absolutely outstanding design.I purchased this several months ago, and wear this jacket almost daily to commute to work. It fits well, offers great visibility, and is surprisingly warm for its weight. The velcro at its wrists has been problematic from the get-go, making an otherwise outstanding product persistently annoying. Thus, I recently consulted the size chart and purchased a Craft cycling jacket, and found upon delivery that the cut was much tighter, necessitating a product return. Pearl Izumi, if you follow these reviews, I'd like you to know I'd be happy to pay extra for functioning velcro.I've found that Pearl Izumi clothing runs a bit small. I normally wear a size Small or X-small, depending, but I ordered a medium in this jacket and it fits perfectly. Great wind barrier for biking or hiking. Nice quality and great color.This is a great jacket. Fits nice and close on the arms and shoulders, but is big enough to get over my hips which is sometimes a struggle with jackets and gillets. Pretty water proof and doesn't get too moist inside from sweat.Die Jacke kam schnell und gefiel mir sehr gut. Die Farbe war genau wie erwartet und die Qualität machte auch einen guten Eindruck. Leider ist es wohl eine italienische Marke und obwohl ich es schon etwas größer bestellt hatte war die Jacke leider viel zu klein. Also nichts für Frauen mit etwas mehr Oberweite! Ging leider zurück, die Rückgabe war total unkompliziert.Diese Jacke lässt sich so klein zusammenlegen, dass sie ohne Probleme in die Rückentasche eines Radtrikots passt.Ideal um sie für kühlere Bergabfahrten mitzunehmen.Zum Test habe ich mich mit der Jacke unter die Dusche gestellt, ein paar Tropfen hält sie sehr gut aus, aber beieiner voll aufgedrehten Dusche muss sie aufgeben. Aber dafür ist sie ja eine Wind- und keine Regenjacke.Die Farbe gefällt mir sehr gut (peacock). Die weiß abgesetzten Felder sind gecrinkelt, was meiner Meinung nach,auch sehr cool aussieht.Nachdem sie mir nach einem Unfall zerschnitten wurde, habe ich sie wieder bestellt.Tolle Fahrradjacke, leicht und lässt sich gut verstauen.. die Passform und die Farbe sind wie abgebildet.. Bin sehr zufrieden und habe den Kauf nicht bereut. Sehr gutes Preis /LeistungsverhältnisToller Preis...Eine tolle Jacke, die man gerne bei etwas uneindeutigem Wetter auf der Straße zum Radfahren trägt. Wasserabweisend, Windschutz und super zu sehen!
